The first phase (of five) will consist of approximately 5 acres of the entire site and includes a 55 unit rental apartment building and 24 single family lots. The single family lots will be zoned to allow legal accessory suites. The rental apartment building will be owned and operated by Woodsmere Holdings Corp. and the Woodsmere Carsharing service will be available to the residents. This proposal provides a variety of housing options that we feel will help to meet many of the community housing needs in the short term. Additional details regarding the proposed development will be available soon. The balance of the site will be reserved for future development and designed according to the need of the community at that time and the ability of the municipality to provide servicing.
